What you get

Why a glass unit mists up

A glass unit is two or three panes with dry gas and an airtight seal between them. When the seal breaks, moisture gets in and fog appears that can't be cleaned from inside. The only solution is to replace the unit.

  • We remove fog and condensation between the panes
  • We replace to the same profile and size
  • Window stays in place, no frame change
  • Double and triple glass units
  • We say honestly whether the unit really has failed
  • Warranty on the work done
What we do

Which glass units we replace

Double unit

Two panes, the classic glass unit. We replace to the same size.

Triple unit

Three panes, better insulation. We replace with the same type.

Energy-saving glass

On request an energy-saving (low-e) unit.

Cracked glass

We also replace a unit cracked by impact or a crack.

Measuring

We measure the unit precisely so the new one fits the profile.

How we work

Four simple steps

1

Describe the problem

One call or message. Describe in a couple of sentences what's wrong with the window and we'll agree on a time.

2

We check on site

We come and inspect the whole window: seal, closing pressure, hardware. We tell you honestly what the problem is and what will help.

3

We fix the window

We replace the seal, adjust or repair the hardware. The window stays in place, the glass unit stays in. One sash takes about half an hour.

4

We check the result

After the work we check that the window closes evenly and the draught is gone. We give a warranty on the work done.
